Tujuan

  • Menghasilkan calon guru kimia yang memiliki kompetensi pedagogi, bidang ilmu kimia, kepribadian, dan sosial.
  • Menghasilkan calon guru kimia yang responsif dan adaptif terhadap perkembangan dalam bidangĀ  ilmu kimia, teknologi, dan pendidikan kimia.
  • Menghasilkan calon guru kimia yang responsif dan adaptif terhadap perubahan sosial dan lingkungan.
  • Menghasilkan calon guru kimia yang memiliki kemampuan komunikasi global dan berjiwa enterpreneur
  • Menghasilkan karya penelitian dalam bidang pendidikan kimia.
  • Menghasilkan karya inovasi dalam bidang pendidikan kimia yang dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran di tingkat perguruan tinggi dan sekolah.
  • Menjalin kolaborasi dalam bidang penelitian dan pendidikan kimia dengan berbagai institusi di dalam dan luar negeri.
  • Mengkomunikasikan hasil penelitian dan pengembangan dalam bidang pendidikan kimia kepada stake holder.

Sasaran

  • Terpenuhinya kebutuhan calon guru kimia yang dapat menunjang pembangunan nasional Indonesia dan berdaya saing global.
  • Tersedianya berbagai karya penelitian dan pengembangan yang dapat menjawab persoalan dan kebutuhan masyarakat pemangku kepentingan program studi
  • Terciptanya proses pembelajaran kimia di sekolah yang sesuai dengan kurikulum dan hasil-hasil penelitian terbaru dalam bidang pendidikan dan pendidikan kimia.
  • Terciptanya jejaring dan kemitraan dengan berbagai institusi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelaksanaan fungsi pendidikan, penelitian, dan pengabdian.

Objectives

The Bachelor of Chemistry Education programme aims to produce graduates who can work as prospective chemistry teachers, research assistants and entrepreneurs in chemistry education. The alumni of the Bachelor of Chemistry Education programme are expected to have:

  1. the knowledge in chemistry and chemistry education,
  2. the ability to work together and be adaptive to the developments in the fields of chemistry, technology, and chemistry education,
  3. the ability to conduct research in the field of chemistry education and/or its application in learning,
  4. the ability to continue studies, and
  5. the ability to communicate globally and have entrepreneurial skill.

BCE-1

Have gained chemistry relevant knowledge of mathematics and natural sciences.

BCE-2

Have gained in-depth and well-balanced knowledge of essential concepts on inorganic, organic, analytical, and physical chemistry as well as biochemistry.

Have gained knowledge in applied chemistry.

BCE-4

Be able to work independently by applying the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulation in the laboratory, environment, and industry.

Able to apply scientific methods in chemistry and chemistry education.
